If an abuser knows how to read your browser
history (internet activity) they may be able to see information which you have recently
viewed on the internet.
You need to clear your browser history (internet activity) by doing the following:

If you use Internet Explorer
- Pull Down Tools menu, select ‘Internet Options’.
- On General page, under Temporary Internet Files, click on ‘Delete Files’.
- Under History click on ‘Clear History’.
If you use Firefox
- Hold Control and tap ‘h’.
- Click on ‘View’ and select ‘By date and site’.
- Select ‘Today’.
- Delete Womens Refuge.
If you use Safari (Apple Mac)
- Select Bookmarks.
- Click on ‘Show All Bookmarks’.
- Click on History and click bookmarks you wish to delete.
- From top menu select ‘Edit’ the ‘Delete.
Even if you delete your browser history (internet activity), an expert can ‘always’ recover details.
The safest way to find information on the internet would be a local library, a friend’s house,
an internet café or at work.
